Turns out that I am one who lives for the weekends! I think that's the one thing about life's journey that I wasn't quite expecting... or ever really knew about. I guess that's because I've always had a history of working during the weekends.

Ever since the age of 15, when I started my very first job (Papa John's phone girl,) I always worked after school and on the weekends. When I was a waitress in college, I always worked after class and on weekends. And even since the full-time job I have now, I worked some nights and weekends at the mall. I think it was December of 2008 that I finally stopped working part-time.
I suppose I am now 'fortunate' enough to work the standard Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. But I have to say that I think it's a little boring! Maybe it's because I've never really had a set schedule and my weeks have become so predictable and routine...
I can't figure it out, because I do know that when those Friday's roll around, I am always happy to have the next two days OFF! So for that, I am thankful.
